Ghanaian influencer intentionally allowed to skip being quarantined and tested upon his arrival at Ghana Airport.

Information Minister strongly cautioned and advised against the act of “smuggling” people out of the laid-down protocols but it does not seem to work.

A famous personality in Ghana whose identity has not been disclosed was reported to have escaped quarantine and testing after arriving from a foreign land.

A Ghanaian professor named Henry Kwasi Prempeh posted the news on his Facebook handle when he confirmed it was revealed to him by an extremely reliable, first-hand source.

In the post, Henry Kwasi Prempeh clearly notes that he hopes above all that it would be a lonely situation, as grossly irresponsible and illegal as it is, to complain someone skips the necessary protocols.

Henry Kwasi Prempeh is Professor of Law at Seton Hall University School of Law, Newark, New Jersey, where since 2003 he has taught courses in constitutional, corporate, and international commercial law.

Let us hope and pray that our everyday habits of corruption, including “protocol”, are not deployed at this time to let in international travelers who are not supposed to be allowed entry into the country or to waive quarantine for some who are required to submit to compulsory quarantine.

May the one account I heard yesterday from an exceptionally credible, first-hand source, of one such person in the former category being let in (and without submitting to testing or quarantine) be a solitary case, as grossly irresponsible and criminal as it is.

There should be no exceptions or waivers to this mandatory no-entry or entry with quarantine rule.

You will get back your favorite corruption and protocol when the present danger has passed. Just pause for now!
