Ghana records it’s first Coronavirus recovery.

One COVID-19 patient in Ghana has now been tested negative and has been considered recoverable. That is according to the website of the Ghana Health Service.

However, the Service said 49 others are responding to treatment while one is in critical condition.

The nationality of the recovered patient is not known though the health service says the patient will be discharged.

The new update sheds light on the condition of all the 51 people in the population of Ghana who tested positive for the illness.

Already three of them died to the illness. They were “aged and had underlying chronic medical conditions” the Ghana Health Service reports.

Fourteen of them are treated at home while the rest received isolated care on admission.
