The Ghanaian actor cum politician has a very sensitive message for the President of Ghana in relation to the lockdown exercise.

Just some few weeks back Ghana recorded its first two imported coronavirus cases which have naturally limited every movement and have also affected every business.

Since the outbreak, Government has taken almost every significant measures to properly handle and even reduce the spread of this deadly virus.

Meanwhile, each day that goes by the situation gets worse, number of people contracting the virus keeps increasing at a fast rate.

So far, the Ghana health Association has recorded 192 confirmed cases, 3 death and 1 recovery.

Although there is one victory for Ghanaians to be happy about, they are simply we are simply worried about the number of people who get infected each and every day.

A lot of prominent people in the country have suggested that, the government should start considering the lockdown exercise practised by other infected countries across the world in order to properly reduce the spread of the virus.

With this positive suggestion from others, John Dumelo’s love and deeper concern for the less privilege and the low-income earners left him with no other option but to express or suggested measures the government should first take before considering the lockdown exercise.

He took to his twitter page and suggested that the government should:
1. Reduce electricity and water tariffs for the period of lockdown( if that becomes inevitable).
2. Reduce data and call charges across all networks. 3. Possibly reduce fuel prices.

Although this suggestion will definitely worsen the country’s economy, it is the best steps to be considered for the sake of low-income earners in the country.
