COVID-19: John Mahama Donates PPE Worth Millions To Ridge Hospital Health Workers | Photos

NDC Flagbearer and former president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has presented Personal Protective Equipments to Ridge Hospital in Greater Accra to help fight Coronavirus.

Former President, John Dramani Mahama delivered a hundred sets of personal protective equipment (PPE) to health workers at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital (Ridge) in Accra on Sunday.

According to Mr. Mahama, the presentation follows reports of PPE shortage and other materials needed by hospital’s frontline medical staff in their battle against coronavirus.

While giving out these items to the health center, John Mahama noted:

“We all, Ghana, appreciates the work you are doing. You are the frontline defence of the population against the disease and we must all support you to be able to protect us”.

The products presented include 100 full sets of PPE, 100 gum boots, 120 scrubs for doctors, 50 gowns for patients, 30 gowns at the theatre, and 400 bottled water packs.

President Mahama was accompanied by NDC National Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, NDC COVID-19 Technical Team Chairman Prosper Bani and Dr. Zanetor Agemang-Rawlings MP for Klottey Korle.
