COVID-19: Infected Guinean Coronavirus Patient Escapes From Quarantine Center At Tamale

Salifu Saeed, a confirmed one of the eight Guineans Covid-19 patient on the run from the quarantine facility in Tamale.

Salifu Saeed has fled from the facility in which they are being quarantined at Tamale, one of eight Guineans who tested positive for the deadly coronavirus.

According to sources, on Monday 30 March 2020, the patient, a woman in her early 20s, jumped over a wall leaving behind her belongings.

Northern Regional Minister, Salifu Saeed, described the situation as ”very disturbing situation because she is positive” with the novel coronavirus.

He said he has instructed them to use all of their resources to trace down the person and get her.

There were two police officers and two soldiers who were patrolling the guest house where they were tracking the eight infected people.

Notwithstanding the severity of the situation, Saeed is urging people to keep calm.

In the meantime, unconfirmed reports exist that the said patient was found in a village near Kumbungu.

The victim, however, was detained by members of the group and has told police so far.

The recent technology has yet to be verified by authorities.
