A few weeks ago, it is rumored by a freelance Journalist Kevin Taylor that President Nana Akufo Addo had tested positive for the deadly coronavirus.
The Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah in one of his press conferences addressing coronavirus matter debunked that rumors saying that the news was false.
Well, President Nana Akufo Addo, his wife, and staff have finally conducted a test for the coronavirus and their result has been revealed.
At a press briefing hosted by the Ministry of Information on April 1, 2020, the President Akufo Addo’s personal physician rubbished claims the president is infected with the virus after revealing the status of his health.
According to the physician, president Akufo Addo and his entire family underwent the test and it came out negative for all of them.
She said;
“On the day before the President’s birthday, we tested him and the first lady and his daughters and all the staff of this household and I am happy to announce that all the tests came back negative.”
