“We invested over $50 million to complete No 1 Oxford Street which recently opened in January but I am moved to offer the property to be used for good, to help my people during this critical time,”

This Is What Brought About Nana Kwame Bediako’s Decision

His kindhearted plan comes amid when the Titi-Ofei Ministries chief scrapped his request of a 100-bed facility for Covid-19 patients to be used as an isolation centre.

Neighbors of Bishop Gideon Titi-Ofei opposed his offer of the facility in Tema-West and said they had not been notified on the decision.

The residents expressed fear that the disease being battled is highly infectious and could expose people to the inevitable pandemic using the facility that is not segregated from an isolation centre.

Responding to the developments, the Bishop said he’d look for other ways to help counter the latest coronavirus.

In another development, industrialist and hospitality giant, Nana Kwame Bediako is urging well-to-do individuals and philanthropists to support the poor and vulnerable.
