Minister of Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has disclosed that President Akufo Addo has extended closure of Ghana’s borders by another two weeks.

The Minister shared this important information via his twitter handle.

Two weeks ago, President Akufo Addo ordered the closure of Ghana’s borders in an effort to curtail the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

Well, according to latest development through the Information Minister, the President feels it is necessary to extend the closure by another two weeks.

According to Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the extension takes effective tomorrow April 5, 2002 by midnight.

He indicated that it has been necessary to protect the lives of Ghanaians despite the fact that it may cause inconveniences to many.

He further thanked Ghanaians for cooperation so far and the nurses and doctors who are frontlines of this COVID 19 war.
