President Of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has revealed that government will absorb the water bills of all Ghanaians for three months amid the coronavirus pandemic.
In the 5th Nation Address by President monitored by thedistin.com, Nana Akufo Addo indicated that he had directed the Ghana Water Company and Electricity Company of Ghana to ensure stable supply of water and electricity for Ghanaians amid the lockdown period.
He further indicated that government will absorb the water bills for all Ghanaians for the next three months thus April, May and June.
He added that public and private water tankers will be mobilized to provide water to communities which lack them.
