Once again the president of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has addressed the Nation over the ongoing lockdown due to the outbreak of Coronavirus outbreak in Ghana.

Ghana’s President Nana Addo, announced a lockdown on these major cities starting today, 30th March, 2020 in a national press statement. Read everything about the lockdown here.

Ghana has officially recorded 132 cases of the coronavirus as of today 20th March 2020 and the scare has become more fierce than ever.

A lot has gone on since, …some people have disobeyed and have been punished by military and policemen, while some have just been obedient enough to stay in their homes as directed by the president. See the several videos of military men and civilians clashing here.

Nana advises for military and police officers involved in the mistreating of civilians during this period to quit and scolds them for their actions.

He further details on: how aid memoirs have been shared to law enforcers to help them better understand the rules of the lockdown; what measures the government is putting in place; how the lockdown period could be extended; and commends health workers and all Ghanaians who are doing their best to help eradicate COVID-19.
