President Nana Akufo Addo disclosed in his 5th Nation’s Address to the country that all frontline health workers will get an additional allowance of 50% of their basic salary for three months.

Yesterday, 5th April 2020, President Akufo Addo had his 5th Address to the nation where he stipulated some stimulus packages to cushion frontline health workers sacrificing their lives to fight the deadly coronavirus.

According to the President, all health workers will not be paying taxes on their emoulments for the next three months.

He further indicated that frontline health workers will enjoy an additional allowance of 50% of their basic salary for the next three months thus April, May and June.

He also indicated that all frontline health workers will be provided with PPEs to ensure that the battle against coronavirus is won hands down.
