Reasons Sarkodie Is Given The Name “Kabutey” Revealed | Video

Rapper Sarkodie has been tagged with a nickname called “Kabutey” and the reason behind it is because he uses the name in most of his songs.

King of terms in Ghana, Achipalago who doubles as an entertainment critic is well noted to be the reason behind Sarkodie’s popular nickname “Kabutey”.

The reasons why Achipalago gave out such name to the rapper was revealed recently when Sarkodie dissed Shatta Wale with a song dubbed “Sub Zero”, click here to listen to the song.

The song came out suddenly as Ghanaians were busily worrying about their lockdown and hoping all this overwhelming struggle (Coronavirus) would come to an end for them to resume their normal lifestyles.

Suddenly, Ghanaian netizens restrained their fear of the covid-19 as they started murmuring about the undying scuffle of Sarkodie and Shatta Wale.

Achipalago shared some of Sarkodie’s compiled music videos which revealed why he was tagged with the nickname “Kabutey.”

Throughout the video, the rapper’s three famous songs had him using the word “Kabutey” that made Achipalago start calling him by such a name.

Kabutey has now become the rapper’s official name that he sounds unperturbed when one calls him with such.
