Communication Director for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sammy Gyamfi disclosed during an interview on State Of Affairs that John Mahama if had been in power, would have provided free electricity for Ghanaian amid the lockdown.

In the 5th Nation Address to Ghanaians, President Akufo Addo revealed that Government will absorbs all water bills of Ghanaians for the next three months, April, May and June.

He further assured Ghanaians that they will receive constant supply of water and electricity amid the lockdown and the fight against the deadly coronavirus.

Well, in the video sighted by thedisitn.com, Sammy Gyamfi, NDC Communication Director, who was responding to Akufo Addo’s social intervention measures amid the lockdown revealed that John Mahama would have provided Ghanaians free electricity during this time.

According to him, in such times like this Ghanaians should be enjoying free electricity since most of them are at home and working at the moment.

He revealed that if Government is unable to absorb the electricity of Ghanaians during this time, it will be difficult for Ghanaians to pay because they are not working.
