Mrs. Tracy Owusu Addo, the wife of Sarkodie, has revealed in a questions and answers segment on twitter that her family did not want her to date Sarkodie back then.

In one of her answers to a question, Tracy revealed that her family did not approve of her dating Sarkodie as they had the notion that he was a womanizer.
However, she decided to stand firm in the relationship since she was the one in the relationship and not her family as such she was not going to let them choose a partner for her

Yes paaa! My family didn’t understand why “university girl” like me would date a rapper Tired face. & there was the perception that rappers are womanisers. But I had to stand my ground. I was the one in the relationship not them so wasn’t going to let them choose 4 me #SrAskTracySarkCess
