According to the Ghana Health Service Website mandated for COVID 19 updates, these new increase in cases is not as a result of new infection but a backlog of testing samples.

Regions that have reported cases still remain the Greater Accra, Ashanti, Eastern, Northern, Volta, Upper East, Upper West, Central, Western and North East regions.
