Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan also referred to as Baby Jet has finally disclosed how he felt about missing the penalty against Uruguay in the 2010 World Cup held in South Africa.

Speaking to Juliet Bawuh of TV3 in an interview, Asamoah Gyan revealed that till today anytime he thinks about the penalty he missed against Uruguay, it hunts him.

According to him, if he had the chance to take back time, he will make things right but since he cannot he’ll have to leave with it for the rest of his life.

Asamoah Gyan said;

Till Today, Anytime I Am Alone, It Still Hunts Me. Sometimes I Feel Like The World Should Go Back Again So I Can Redeem Myself. But I Know This Is Something That Will Haunt Me For The Rest Of My Life. I Accept That Because There Is Nothing I Can Do About It. I Went There To Save My Country But I Ended Up Being The Villian, Which I Accept Because I Know How People Feel.
