Job Description
The company is hiring experienced and educated individuals for the position
Responsibilities
- Test run different parts of the plant (fecal sludge dewatering, water treatment, composting, briquette production) to optimize the processes
- Manage the treatment and production plant, to ensure quality products are manufactured, treatment performance for wastes is satisfactory and plant capacity is attained
- Produce scientific reports on the research activities undertaken
- Set-up a demonstration site for the produced compost
- Any other related activities related to the plant operation and assigned by a supervisor
Qualification
MSc or MPhil in environmental science, civil engineering, process engineering or any related field
Knowledge & Experience
- A minimum of two years’ experience as plant manager for a plant producing compost or briquettes
- Experience with fecal sludge handling and processing
- Experience in writing technical reports
- Experience in training staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
