Former President of Ghana and NDC Flagbearer John Dramani Mahama has expressed his disappointment in the Government’s decision to go ahead with the new voter’s register amid coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking during a digital telecast yesterday, John Mahama indicated that it is unfortunate a ranking member of the party in government will say that the Electoral Commission is planning to conduct the new voter’s registration in May at the expense of the lives of Ghanaians.

According to Mahama, he hopes the decisions taken by the President, Nana Akufo Addo are decisions that will ensure the healthy and safety of Ghanaians during this pandemic and not because of political gains.

He further added that such suggestion from the ranking member of the New Patriotic Party is very irresponsible.
