The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has extended the ban on social gathering by two more weeks.
Yesterday 26th April 2020, the president of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo addressed the Nation on the enhanced response to the Coronavirus pandemic.
As a measure to halt the spread of Coronavirus, President Akufo Addo imposed restrictions on movement and ban on the social gathering.
The ban imposed by the president affects social gathering including funerals, parties, and church services across the globe.
During his 8th nation’s address on Covid-19, Akufo-Addo indicated that under EI 64, he has extended the ban on social gathering by two more weeks.
The extention according to the President will effective from Monday April 27, 2020 at 1am.
