Keche Joshua of popular music group Keche has jabbed Ghanaian musician Gasmilla for claiming to be the king of Azonto.
Just recently, Sarkodie started a campaign online campaign dubbed #BringBackAzonto with the aim of bringing back the dance and song genre.
Following Sarkodie’s campaign, Gasmilla in an interview indicated that he needs to be acknowledged by Sarkodie, E.L and others who are claiming they are the champions in Azonto stating that he’s the real King of Azonto.
According to Gasmilla, Sarkodie should have reached out to him when he got the idea that he wanted to bring back the craze which has fizzled out.
Well, Keche Joshua who seems to disagree with Gasmila has stated that Gasmila should take the Azonto dance and leave their music for them since he claims to be the originator.
In a video sighted by thedistin.com, Keche Joshua indicated that no musician in Ghana has ever won an award with an Azonto song.
