Ghanaian TV host and GFA Executive Council member, Ransford Annetey Abbey has voiced his thoughts in an interview with KSM on the recent coronavirus outbreak in Ghana and how it’s being handled by the government.

Dr. Randy Abbey who was recently appointed as a member of CAF legal affairs Committee speaking to KSM on his late-night show on Metro TV explained how he thinks the current COVID-19 Outbreak in Ghana has exposed the weaknesses in Ghana’s governing body.

COVID-19 has actually brought to the fore the weaknesses…whatever we have; the supper structure is on a very weak foundation.

Randy told KSM

He further narrates that Ghana the “this too shall pass” approach taken by Ghanaians and the government on this matter only shows how the country is comfortable with its old ways, …probably waiting for the virus to vanish so we can go back to live that old “I don’t care” lifestyles.

Whilst others are talking about the new normal, how are we averting our minds to what the new normal is and which steps are we taking to ensure that we will be ready for the new normal or we are really adapting to the new normal. Are we rather talking about this too shall pass and not waiting for it to pass so that we get back to our comfort zone?

What is the encouragement that this too shall pass?

He added.
