Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson has expressed her disappointment in vice president Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia for comparing COVID-19 to dumsor.
The vice president in a recent press conference compared the coronavirus pandemic to dumors as he replies to former president John Mahama’s claims of the government not handling the pandemic very well.
According to Dr, Bawumia, when the former president was in power, he couldn’t handle the crisis which is dumsor in his time, therefore, he should allow the current president Akufo Addo to handle this coronavirus pandemic as he seems to be doing very well.
Actress Lydia Forson why reacting to the vice president’s claims expressed how disappointed she is in him for comparing dumsor to coronavirus a crisis that threatens human existence.
She posted on her twitter page saying she’s extremely disappointed in the vice president. She wrote:
“I can’t believe we’re comparing DUMSOR to COVID-19, a pandemic that threatens our very human existence. I’m utterly disgusted and extremely disappointed by this comparison,”
