It has been reported that the two convicts ” Power 36” and ”Scorpion 37” who were arrested by the police investigative team for luring and murdering the biochemical consultant ” Edward Quartey Papafio”, the mason ”Kwashie Zormelo” and some other people have been chased out from Suhum, located in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

These two fetish priests, who work in Adu Kwadwo, a suburb of Adeiso in the Eastern Region of Ghana, Where their shrine ”Power 1 Herbal & Spiritual Centre”, is located, were arrested by the CID team of Adu Kwadwo, led by COP Ken Yeboah on the 30th April 2020.

During the investigations after the criminals were taken into police custody, it was revealed that these two fetish priests,” Christian Lawoe Gameli, aka Power-One, 36, Famous Adukonu, aka Scorpion, 37, used to carry out their murdering acts in Suhum community but relocated to their current place in Adu Kwadwo after their dirty games were revealed and were sacked by Suhum people.

According to the reports given by the leader of the CID department, this was revealed by a resident of the adjoining town of Adu Kwadwo called Kwesi Nyarko.

Barima Opoku Affi Nyarko, the overall chief of all the adjoining towns of Adu Kwadwo with Kwesi Nyarko town inclusive, complimented on the brave and remarkable work done by the police officers to bring to light, the murdering acts of power 36 who people of the town considered an innocent man.

According to the chief and elders of the town, members of the town severally complained about them being chased in the bush when going to town. As the complains increased, he called all the priests in the towns to inquire from them if they knew anything about what was happening. They all sworn with the gods and denied all claims made.

“They, therefore, agreed to gather at the market square of Kwasi Nyarko with their deities to invoke curses on the people responsible for that,” he said, adding that they could not come back to execute their promise of invoking those curses at the market square”.

“We are happy that the cover of ‘Power One’ has been blown otherwise many of our people could have disappeared and we will not know who is behind it,”

The chief indicated

He expressed his gratitude for saving his people and promised that, he would give the land Power 36 bought from them, to the government in order to help in the development of the town and to also contribute to the safety and welfare of his people.

“As I am speaking to you, we are still in shock because ‘Power One’ looked so innocent, very gentle and calm so nobody would have suspected him of such a crime,”

the chief added.

According to COP Ken Yeboah, members of the community have been in complete shock ever since power 1 was proven to be a murderer. A resident with the name Theophilus who stays closer to his shrine, had no idea about his deadly acts so he has since been in shock wondering if it’s not a nightmare. Other people in the community still continue their normal duties whereas children also play around freely without fear and panic
