A three years old boy, a son of one Ebenezer Nana Bonsu, a resident of Buokrom situated in the Ashanti Region has been abused by his own father. His father used canes and wires to deface the dorsal part ( back) of his body, which has worsened his condition and has been admitted at Manhyia hospital in Kumasi.
Due to his senseless and unwarranted attitude, he has been arrested by the police to face the law for abusing his own son.
Speaking on Adom Fm’s Dwaso Nsem morning show, Frank Amankwa, an uncle the victim revealed that Mr. Ebenezer disfigured his so’s back because he claimed his son’s actions were obdurate that’s why he punished him.
According to him, the little boy does not stay with his father but was sent over to him to have a feel of fatherly love on his birthday which was celebrated on the 6th of April. Afterward, the father decided not to let go of him.
He stated that, ever since the little moved in to stay with his father, they have been receiving reports of him being abused severally but it was hard to believe until this incident.
“Prior to the ordeal suffered by the boy in the hands of his father last Saturday, we had already received reports from neighbours about how he constantly abused him. On Saturday, it took the same neighbours to call us to rush down because Bonsu had resumed his abusive conduct.”

Upon getting this information, we went there to take back the boy. We questioned him on his whereabouts only to see him in a very critical state. Hence, he was rushed to the hospital for immediate treatment. He further complained bitterly about how the child screamed in pain and had bruises all over his body.
This is violence hence he was reported to the police to be arrested for thorough investigations.
