The reason behind the mutilation of the 3-years old young boy using cane and wire in Kumasi has been revealed by his father according to the statement of the commander in chief of Manhyia Police Division ” ACP Kwaku Buah.”
Earlier on, a case of the father, who physically abused his 3-years old son was reported. This case was very critical as his actions towards this young boy have worsened his health, leading to his admission at Manhyia Hospital.
Due to his harsh attitude towards his son, his uncle ” Frank Amankwa” reported him to the police for him to be arrested for further questioning.
After his arrest, the police investigated and questioned him on why such an act on this adorable child.
The Commander in Chief of Manhyia Police Division stated that, the reason gave by the abuser was that, the child had that as a punishment due to his disobedience.
“Bonsu was in a relationship with the boy’s mother until she recently decided to opt-out so we suspect it’s the reason he has decided to unleash his anger on the little boy,”.
Commander added on Dwaso Nsem Morning show
“I’m not a doctor but the child’s condition looked bad to me and we pray it’s not worse than we see now because he is to go for a scan today,” he disclosed.
“All the excuses he [the boy’s father] gave didn’t make sense to us because I don’t know what offense can merit such a punishment for a 3-year-old boy,”
Commander revealed
According to him, the abuser would be in police custody to face the aligned punishment by the law.
