COVID 19: Confirmed Cases In Ghana Now Hits 5918 With 31 Deaths

As of today 19th May 2020, Ghana’s confirmed coronavirus cases have increased by 183 making the total 5918.

According to the latest updates on the Ghana Health Services, 183 news cases have been confirmed and two new deaths have been recorded increasing the death toll to 31.

However, the number of persons who have recovered remains at 1754.

Breakdown of the new 183 cases shows below;

Greater Accra Region – 108

Ashanti Region – 63

Volta Region – 7

Central Region – 2

Oti Region – 2

Eastern Region – 1

In addition, Accra Metropolitan and Korle Klottey areas in Greater Accra Region are top contributors
to the news cases in the region while Obuasi and Kumasi Metro are leading contributors in the Ashanti
Region with 63 new cases

Interestingly, Bono East, Ahafo and Savannah Regions have remain with no coronavirus cases.
