Ghanaian rapper Desmond Kwesi Blackmore, well known as D-black has reacted to his colleague, Edem’s tweet of Ghanaian musician being hungry during this crisis.

Edem in a recent social media post disclosed that he and his colleague artists are hungry due to the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus which has shown how the systems and structures have left artists hungry.

According to Edem, the structures of the music industry are so poor that they are all hungry now that they are home doing nothing but their songs are being played and enjoyed by others.

To him, the poor structures have made it impossible for them to be able to enjoy their hard work now that they are home.

“EVERY ARTISTE IN GHANA IS HUNGRY.SOME MIGHT JUST NOT SAY IT….LETS ALL DO SO THE WORLD KNOWS HOW OUR SYSTEM BE YAWA ABD IN THIS CORONA TIMES ARTISTES ARE SUFFERING”,

Edem tweeted.

Reacting to Edem’s tweet, D-black stated that not all musicians are hungry.

According to him, musicians must strive to have some side investments aside to music so that they won’t depend solely on it for survival.

“Not all… Some have made some smart investments bro. I haven’t had to depend on music only for over 4 years now bro.. It’s important for artists to use this situation as a reminder for the need to invest in your brand outside of art of music. It’s essential. Love g”
