African Dancehall King Stonebwoy has disclosed that the amount of money he spent only for votes on last year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Speaking to Hitz FM, the “Nominate” hitmaker said that he spent more than GHC50,000 on airtime just for votes during last year’s VGMA.
According to him, last year’s VGMA artiste of the year was his hands down based on the votes and the amount of work he had put in during that year.
He also indicated that the incident between him and Shatta Wale that occurred during Awards Night was more of a lesson than a regret.
His reason was that his intention and that of Shatta Wale was never pre-meditated, cause if it had been it would have been chaotic as soon as he entered.
