A resident of Thailand” 24 yrs old Erapat Klaiya”, has been apprehended for by the police investigative team of Nonthaburi police station for looting slippers and other footwear of his neighbors to have intimacy with them.
During the investigations after his arrest, the police retrieved about 126 slippers he had stolen from his neighbors in Nonthaburi, central Thailand.
According to the statement of the police, the convict was caught in a video saved by a CCTV footage that was fixed in the home of the criminal after a complaint was lodged.
When questioned on why picking up used slippers of his neighbors, he indicated that it was to help fulfill his sexual desire and satisfaction. He added that he cuddles and has intimacy with these slippers few hours after he had put them on.
The police further added that shoes of different brands and sizes, which have been worn were in his possession.
Major Colonel Ekkaphop Prasitwattanachai speaking with the media, stated that the accused accepted three charges and pleaded guilty, speaking with the media said that it wasn’t his first committing such crimes . The accused indicated that he did night snatching, breaking he rules on Covid-19 curfew and having in his possession, a digital transceiver.
“After we arrested the suspect, we also found out that he had already been arrested last year for stealing flip-flops in another district.
“He fully admitted stealing the sandals for lewd purposes, so he will be detained at the station until a court appearance for prosecutors to decide on the next part of the legal process for him.”
