A 25 years old resident of Aburaso has been apprehended by the Suntreso police command, for murdering a 7 months old pregnant woman ” 22 years old Akosua Ataa, by stabbing her neck to death.
This sad event happened on sunday at Aburaso situated in the district of Atwima-Kwanwoma.
The accused “Adwoa Bawumia” who is a known kenkey seller in the vicinity popularly known as Adwoa Dokono, killed the deceased in an argument that occurred as a result of the deceased questioning the accused on why she threw shades at her mother.
According to the eye witness who was present at the scene, as the clash started between them, the convict took a knife to stab the neck of the pregnant woman, after which she was rushed to the government hospital of Suntreso but was confirmed dead as they reached the hospital.
The commander for Suntreso Police Station “Mr. Richmond Akwasi Yeboah” has indicated that prosecution of this murder case would begin on 28th May 2020 for justice to prevail.
