Man Remanded For Two Weeks Over Murder Of Nephew At Apinkraa

A resident of Apinkra has been apprehended and left behind bars in the police cells for two weeks time frame, for killing his nephew a few days, after a misunderstanding between them.

This sad incident happened at Apinkra, which is situated in the district of Bosomtwe, located in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

According to the information gathered, the accused ” 77 years old Kofi Asamoah” murdered the deceased ” Yaw Owusu” as he was sleeping in his room.

In order for justice to prevail, the prosecutor in charge of the case has requested for an extension in the investigative time frame, to help rule out all necessary evidence for accurate and fair judgement.

Hence, the suspect has been remanded in police custody for a period of two weeks for final investigations to be concluded whereas the next hearing, has been adjourned for June 11, 2020, before Kuntanase District court.
