The National Chief of Ghana Muslims, Dr. Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu has cautioned Imams of Major mosques in Ghana against holding Jumu’a Salat in their mosques come Friday.

Although President Akufo Addo has eased restrictions on religious activities to allow 100 people in mosques and churches

The Chief imam has advised Imams to hold on and not hold Friday Jumu’a Salat in mosques which normally number of people who gather there are more than 100

This detective is to prevent overcrowding in mosques which wouldn’t be good in the nation’s fight against the spread of coronavirus.

In view of the high risk of losing control of huge congregational sizes, pursuant to the directive of the president limiting the number of worshipers to a hundred (100) Jumu’a Salat in major Masjid (Mosques) Particularly in urban areas, should be discouraged until further.
