Fire service commander in the municipal area of Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai ” Joseph Amehere” has reported a fire outbreak in a resident’s house, which caused the death of three children of the victim” one Madam Monica “.
This sad incident, happened in a suburb of Bibiani Anhwiaso called Kalifonia, situated in the Western North Region of Ghana.
According to him, they got to know of this incident to take action after the mother of the burnt children, rushed to the station to file a report on her house being on fire.
After getting this information, a group of firefighters was sent to go and extinguish the flames, after which lifeless bodies of the woman’s children were found locked up in the room.
Speaking with Starr News, the officer of Fire Service explained that, the source of the fire in the room was from a television set and the death of her children is as a result of the intensity of the fire outbreak after she rushed to the fire service station to file a report, leaving the children in the room.
He added that the father to these children who are between the ages of one to four went unconscious after an attempt to his children due to the fire’s high intensity.
Mr. Samuel Kwagreey, Assemblyman, and a relative of the deceased and victim indicated that the lifeless bodies of the dead children have been conveyed to the government hospital morgue of Bibiani.
