Akwaboah Explains Why He Parted Ways With Sarkcess Label

Ghanaian singer-songwriter and producer popularly known as Akwaboah Jnr, in an interview with Amansan Krakye of  GBC Radio Central, broke silence on how backing off from Sarkcess Label, has exposed him to greater opportunities, making him who he is today.

Akwaboah was signed unto the record label of Sarkodie in the year 2016 and their contract went down the in third year time around 2019.

He got signed onto a different record label called OB Empire after he left the camp of Sarkodie.

Parting ways with Sarckcess three years after their hard work together really got fans reacting as they didn’t know why such duo would take a decision like that.

In his interview, he indicated that leaving the Sarkcess Label does not pose any feeling of regret on him as he has made a good move and has as well hit it hard in the entertainment industry to discover some other talents he never thought he could have

“For now I would like to do so many things on my own rather than going back to be under the Sarkcess Music record label….So it’s forward ever”

Akwaboah stated making it clear that he wouldn’t return to Sarkcess Record Label.

Akwaboah has always been in the greater heights ever since his involvement in the OB Empire. He has been recognized both locally and internationally and has been part of the best in Ghana. He encouraged Ghanaians to look out for his amazing and incredible work to entertain his fans.
