Accra Circuit Court Grants Apostle Kwabena Owusu Agyei A Bail Of GH¢ 100,000

The NDC’s pastor ”  Apostle Kwabena Owusu Agyei ” who was arrested with weed a few days after he threw shades and cursed the EC Jean Mensah over the new voter’s register, has now been granted bail the circuit court in Accra.

Taking into consideration his humble plea, the presiding judge for the case ”   Emmanuel Essandoh” granted him a bail of GH¢ 100,000 in addition to three sureties.

During the court rulings on Tuesday, he was ordered to report in court every two weeks and to also make his passport available to the court.

His counsel ” Victor Adawudu” who stood on his behalf to request for a bail explained that the accused is a very good man with pure heart and intentions.

Apostle Kwabena Owusu Agyei was arrested after he made several allegations against some authorities of the NPP including MP for Assin Central ” Hon Kennedy Agyapong” and as well used offensive words against the current EC Mrs. Jean Mensah.

He was taken into police custody after he was apprehended by the National Security in the midst of an interview with a radio station in his own home, following the release of an arrest warrant to seize all his electrical gadgets including his phone.

He was charged in court for threatening the EC, using offensive words in public, and having in his possession an illegal drug that was discovered after he was captured.
