A young 24 years old William Adomako identified as a security man in East Legon, has been arrested, charged, and sentenced to one-year imprisonment by the circuit court in Accra, for kissing and taking off the undergarments of an eight old years child.
The accused when questioned in court about the complaint made by the father of the child, denied being guilty but the presiding judge ” Mrs. Christiana Cann Adomako” based on all evidence provided against him, sentenced him in accordance with the laws of the country.
According to the prosecutor ” Chief Inspector Atimbire” in charge of the case, the complaint was lodged by the father of the victim.
The father explained that the incident happened on March 10, 2020, around 8:am after both parents and household left home with the child left behind with her 11 years elder sister.
He indicated that the security man who lives in the same hood with them was assigned to safeguard the house in their absence but he kissed the little child and as well remove her pants.
The little girl with fear screamed and rushed to her older sister who also channeled the information to his father on his return, after which he reported the case to the police and sent her to the health facility to receive care.
