The member of parliament for Assin North, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong who has been on the airwaves for about two months now in an interview with Paul Adom-Otchere on the “Good Evening Ghana” show has revealed that President Kufuor once sacked from his house when he visited him.
He explained that one guy name Ato Eshun who was quite closer to Ex-President Kufuor snitched on him and made Ex-President Kuffuor develop a very strong hatred for him.
According to Kennedy, all these emanated as a result of the Nana Addo/ Allan Kyeremateng faction that emerged when NPP wanted to elect a flagbearer.
He said President Kuffuor had done a lot for him when he was the President of Ghana and wished he Kennedy supported Allan Kyeremateng to become the flagbearer of NPP. He stated that he decided not to be drawn into the Nana/Allan turf war and he decided to remain neutral.
He further explained that Ato Eshun went to bad mouth-him to Ex-President Kuffuor not knowing what exactly Eshun told the former president. He revealed he decided to visit President Kufuor one day at his house and was surprised to see President Kufuor upset upon seeing him and eventually sacking him without knowing exactly what he had done.
