A resident of Anambra State in Nigeria has been apprehended for defiling his three years old daughter on the day her pregnant mother was in labor on the 28th of April 2020.
When the victim was questioned on what transpired in the incident, she indicated that her father ” Mr. Ekenta ” penetrated her whilst she was asleep but felt severe pains after she woke up.
The accused repudiated the fact that he used his penis, explaining that he used his fingers to finger her in order to satisfy his sexual desires and attributed what happened to the work of the devil as they always do.
According to the mother of the child, she inquired from her husband to the child as a result of the changes she saw in her and she became unwell resulting from the incident.
Upon his confession, he admitted raping the child after which she was rushed to the hospital for further treatment and it was also revealed that, he used his penis and not his hand.
The wife of the victim ” Mrs. Ekenta” narrated that, she reported her husband to his family but was threatened to not disclose to the public.
Fortunately for her, a whistleblower came up, which helped her to report the case to Women and Children’s Affair Commission after which he was captured to face the law.
