Last week, the Electoral Commission of Ghana(E.C.) revealed that to the general public that date to commence the compilation of a new register for the 2020 general election.
The activity was said to commence on Tuesday 30th June 2020. Despite the rise in coronavirus cases recorded in the country, the commission gave assurance to comply with the COVID-19 protocols.
As at 8; 00 am this morning, the registration exercise took off at the various polling stations per the commission’s directives.
Videos circulating on social media clearly indicate that, people aren’t complying and observing the COVID-19 protocols in some parts of the country as assured by the government and the Electoral Commission.
