Former NPP General Secretary and CEO of Forestry Commission Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie has died after suffering a short illness in Accra.

What Happened To Him

Sources have told that Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie was admitted to the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital last Thursday, 25th June, and he was moved to the ICU after he started experiencing breathing difficulties.

Who was Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie

Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie (popularly known as Sir John) was a Ghanaian lawyer and politician. He has held several political positions including serving as general secretary of the New Patriotic Party. He was serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Forestry Commission of Ghana before his demise.
