Ghana’s senior minister, Yaw Osafo-Marfo, has tested positive for coronavirus, according to an official announcement on Tuesday, July 7, 2020.
This was announced today by the Minister of Information, Mr Kojo Oppong Nkrumah at a press briefing in Accra.
Senior Minister Osafo-Maafo has been informed that his sample taken has returned positive for COVID-19.
Oppong Nkrumah said.
Kojo Oppong Nkrumah added that the Senior Minister is, however, receiving treatment from home.
After the news of the Senior Minister testing positive for the virus went viral, Ghanaians have taken to their social media to react to the news.
While some send their regards and wish him a speedy recovery, others seem to be happy as they infamously thanked God for what he has done.
