It was reported earlier that the chairperson for Electoral Commission of Ghana, Jean Adukwei Mensah had tested positive for the deadly Coronavirus.
According to reports, Madam Jean Mensah had tested positive for the deadly virus and was receiving treatment at the UNIVERSITY OF GHANA MEDICAL CENTRE.
The reports got many worried as it went viral on various social media platforms and other renowned news portals.
Well, The Electoral Commission of Ghana has released a press statement in response to the viral reports.
In the statement, the commission urged the general public to regard such reports as false news
The statement also stated that, the E.C boss is Coronavirus free and currently working tirelessly at the commission’s office for the betterment of Ghana.
