The cause of Nelson Mandela’s youngest daughter, Zindzi Mandela death has finally been revealed.
Nelson Mandela Foundation days ago reported the sudden demise of Winnie and Zindzi, the youngest daughter of Nelson Mandela of South Africa.
The 59 years old deceased, who from 2015, became a South African Ambassador to Denmark, met her untimely death at Johannesburg hospital.
The cause of her death was not disclosed but the foundation indicated that it would be revealed at the right time.
Well, her son Zondwa Mandela in a recent interview with SABC has shed light on the cause of his mother death.
In the virtual interview, Zondwa said he cannot authoritatively reveal the cause of her mother’s death as they await autopsy report from the medics.
He however mentioned that his mother tested positive for Covid-19 and there is a possibility that she died from Covid-19 related issues.
Simply by the virtue that there was a positive test, we are therefore obligated to function and work within the framework of the existing regulation related to such cases.
