The president of the Republic of Ghana exports 120 qualified Ghanaian nurses to Barbados
These nurses are to serve at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados
They are to serve under two years’ contractual agreement which 120 were qualified out of 600 applicants who expressed interest.
The selection was done by officials from Barbados and the Ministry of Health through a series of interviews for which 150 was shortlisted
This program came up following President Nana Akufo-Addo’s visit to the Caribbean Island for a bilateral talk with the Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Amor Mottley.
