Reno Omokri urged his followers to make money so that when they see human suffering, they can pay their way and not pray their way.
He compared his statement to that for the Good Samaritan in the Bible claiming that when the Good Samaritan saw the injured man, he did not pray for him but paid.

According to him, in time of your needs, you need payer warriors and not prayer warriors.
He added that when you can’t pay your rent, you don’t need a brother that can pray. You need one that can pay.
