Elizabeth Yamoah, 60-Year-Old JHS Graduate Reveals What She Wants To Be In Future

60-year-old JHS graduate, Madam Elizabeth Yamoah got the attention of Ghanaians after she defied all odds to become the oldest student ever to write the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

Speaking on Kasapa FM during an interview, Elizabeth Yamaoah appealed to President Akufo Addo and stakeholders of the “Free SHS Program” to make her an ambassador of the program as a motivation to school dropouts.

According to Elizabeth Yamaoah, during her childhood, she loved school a lot but due to financial constraints she could not continue.

She revealed that it has been her dream to become a professional nurse one day and when she heard after the Free SHS Program by Akufo-Addo, she decided to enroll back in school.

The 60-year-old JHS graduate who sounded very emotional fired her neighbors who passed negative comments about her when she enrolled back in school.

As a result, she almost quit school again after she got promoted to JHS 2.

The determined JHS graduate who completed the Agona Odoben Presbyterian Basic School additionally made it known that she is confident of coming out with flying colors in the examination, hopes to enroll in a boarding school, and finally become a nurse in the future.
