Contestants representing Mfantsipim Senior High School at the National Science and Maths Quiz have disgraced their school after they failed to spell their school’s name correctly.

The National Science & Maths Quiz 2020 is currently ongoing as schools compete to show off their prowess with the main objective to promote the study of the sciences and mathematics, help students develop quick thinking and a probing and scientific mind about the things around them, while fostering healthy academic rivalry among senior high schools.

Mfantsipim School clashed with Kumasi Academy and St Mary’s SHS in today’s competition.

Some believed that it was a “cool chop” for Mfantsipim School as their opponents were no match.

Unfortunately, things went south as the two-time winners of the competition lost to Kumasi Academy as they accrued 35 points.

Kumasi Academy finished as shark slayers with 53 points while St. Mary’s ended the contest with 30 points.

What even caught the attention of everyone is when the Mfantsipim contestants spelt the name of their school incorrectly.
