Nana Aba Anamoah, the General manager of GhOne Television and former Black Star striker, Asamoah Gyan have vent their anger on UK sports media outlet -The SUN for revealing that Thomas Partey comes from “poverty-stricken existence in Ghana” in their publication after his deal with Arsenal.

Arsenal have signed Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid on Deadline Day after meeting his £45m release clause.

Partey signed a long-term deal at the Emirates after he completed his medical and paperwork just before Monday’s 11pm deadline.

One popular sports media outlet called The Sun based in UK has got the entire Thomas Partey fans and friends of the player angry after they said the player is from a poor country.

In one of their articles that captures the life of the Black stars player, they described Thomas Partey as someone who has become rich after his poverty-stricken existence in Ghana”.

Reacting to this uncalled for publication from THE SUN has angered top Ghanaian Journalist, Nana Aba Anamoah in a rebuttal via her social media handles called out the media to do better. Nana Aba Anamoah labelled them as ‘shameless eejits.

“The pain is very deep in that headline. You just hate to see foreigners come in at a high cost. You’re shameless eejits @thesunfootball”, 

she wrote.
