An award scheme dubbed MTN SWAG Awards has awarded Ghana Blackstars forward, Jordan Ayew as the SWAG Footballer of the Year 2019 Award.
He was in tight competition with Mubarak Wakaso and Thomas Partey who were all nominated in this category but he emerged the winner.
The Crystal Palace star had an incredible season with his Club after emerging the top scorer at the end of the 2020/21 season.
This is the very time he’s winning this accolade at the age of 28.

The MTN SWAG Awards, organized by the Sports Writers Association of Ghana, seeks to recognise and appreciate athletes for a job well done in the year under review.
The 45th edition of the awards was held at the SWISS SpiritAlisa Hotel today, October 10, 2020, with strict compliance to the COVID-19 protocols.
GFA President Kurt ES Okraku handed the Award to Jordan at the Black Stars camp in Antalya, Turkey and was watched by all who attended Saturday’s award ceremony
