At the 3rd edition of Ghana Outstanding Women Awards (GOWA 2020) that was held in Accra on Friday, October 16, 2020, Deloris Frimpong Manso popularly called Delay emerged the Outstanding Woman of the Year, she cries while receiving her award.

The 2020 edition of Ghana Outstanding Women Awards (GOWA 2020) which just ended last night saw TV personality Deloris Frimpong Manso, popularly known as Delay, emerging as the biggest winner.

Before being announced the overall winner, Delay had also bagged the Outstanding Woman of the Year (TV Personality) award.

The tough and unbreakable Delay got emotional when she mounted the stage to receive the ultimate award at that night.

She cried when she was recounting how homeless she was and how she slept even without food.

But from her humble beginnings, Delay revealed that she now owns houses and businesses which supplies food to the homes of many Ghanaians.

Touching on the award, the Delay Show host asserted that it was normal for her to win because she is a talented and skillful interviewer.

The teary Delay went on to dedicate the award to her sister and late mother and she was so emotional that comedian Clemento Suarez had to climb onto the stage to hug her.

The categories Delay won on the night had Nana Ama McBrown, Joselyn Dumas, among others in there. The GOWA 2020 was held at the Alisa Hotel and had performances from Mr Drew, Keche, and other music stars.

TV3’s Anita Akuffo was the MC for the night.
